The Swiss watch-making house Baume & Mercier organised Tuesday the 29th May the private viewing of the 10th edition of the PhotoEspaña in the exceptional setting of the Círculo de Bellas Artes of Madrid. More than 400 guests attended, among which several personalities from the world of Photography, Journalism and Jewellery-Watch-Making. Its three ambassadors, namely Juan Barja, Director of the Círculo de Bellas Artes of Madrid, Claude Bussac, Director of PHE07 and Jean Christophe Sabatier, International Marketing Director of Baume & Mercier, opened the evening. Before enjoying this outdoor cocktail party, a group of Baume & Mercier customers (official jewellers and watch-maker distributors of the brand in Madrid) had the privilege of having a preview of Sylvia Plachy's exhibition (De reojo, Círculo de Bellas Artes, Sala Goya). The photographer was also present during this very special, exclusive visit.

Among those attending were internationally famous photographers like Bruce Davidson, Lynn Davis, Alberto García-Alix, Isabel Muñoz, Andrés Serrano, Gao Bo...

The cocktail party was punctuated by jazz by the very eclectic Nikoleta Sekulovic, who after appearing at the Operación Triunfo did us the honour by enchanting us with her gentle voice and expressive interpretation.

A very special evening where, with each second of its precious jewellery, Baume & Mercier knew how to capture the artists and personalities special moments.
