On June 20th 2007, Baume & Mercier and Magnum Photos, the prestigious photographic cooperative, invited all the agency’s photographer members to the Tishman Speyer Gardens to celebrate its 60th anniversary.

For this exceptional event, Michel NIETO, CEO of Baume & Mercier and Marc Lubell, Bureau Chief of Magnum New York, inaugurated the “Moments in Time” exhibition, a photographic retrospective created specially for the occasion by Baume & Mercier and Diane Raimondo, Advertising and Corporate Director of Magnum New York.

To immortalize this evening, legendary photographer Elliott Erwitt took photos of a select group of 50 people up on the rooftops of the Rockefeller Center. Each of them was privileged to receive their portrait a few days later, taken by the great master of photography.

For many guests, this soirée will remain an exceptional and unforgettable experience in the company of some of the greatest names in 20th and 21st century photography.
