Biography
Photographer Carolyn Cole has spent the past fifteen years covering national and international news. Her coverage of the civil crisis in Liberia won the 2004 Pulitzer Prize for feature photography. Cole is a two-time winner of the Robert Gold Medal for war photography from the Overseas Press Club of America—for her work in Iraq and Liberia (2003) and her photographs of the Church of the Nativity, Bethlehem (2002). She has earned four World Press photo awards and has been named U.S. newspaper photographer of the year four times.

Cole believes that it is the collective work of all journalists that has a chance to make a difference. She is honored to have been selected to work with Baume&Mercier along with Love146 to create a body of work that illustrates the positive efforts being made to end the sexual exploitation of children.
